To mark the Cervical Cancer Prevention Week in January and the Foundation’s pre-activities of World Cancer Day on 4th February with the theme #CloseTheCareGap, Medicaid Cancer Foundation carried out another Free Cervical Cancer Screening at General Hospital Kangiwa on Tuesday, 31st January 2023.
The screening leveraged the ongoing Statewide Cervical Cancer Prevention Program supported by World Health Organisation, Clinton Health Access Initiative and Medicaid Cancer Foundation.
In addition, the program featured Breast Cancer Awareness, distribution of Safe Birth Kits to more than Sixty (60) Pregnant Women, Food items, Insecticide Treated Mosquito Nets.
