MCF SCHOOL ADVOCACY PROGRAMME AT GREATER HEIGHTS ACADEMY: WORLD BOOK DAY

#MedicaidCancerFoundation continues to record remarkable success in her School Advocacy Programme.
On March 03, 2017 being #worldbookday , vibrant teachers and well mannered students of Great Heights Academy expressed joy at our outreach.

Led by Our Founder, H.E Dr Zainab Bagudu we shared the story of Mrs Folake Ajibola, a breast cancer survivor. Early detection is key and she urged that students should pass on the message of regular pap test, HPV screening and vaccines to both their parents and female relations.

A Presentation was done by Dr Suraiya Mansur (CCO, MCF) who highlighted general cancer facts with particular emphasis on cervical and breast cancer.

Privileges/gifts were given to deserving students who were able to answer quiz questions led by Hadiza Amanabo (Coordinator MCF)
