One of the strategic objectives of Medicaid Cancer Foundation is to reduce the burden of cancer especially among indigents. To ensure that this goal is achieved, we are joining forces to promote the implementation of the SDG 2030 agenda for good health.
On the 3rd of July 2018, a scientific roundtable meeting was hosted by GlaxoSmithKline-GSK-a leading global healthcare company)in Lagos. It was themed Cervical Cancer Awareness, Prevention and Education (CAPE) with the keynote speech given by Professor Rose Anorlu Consultant Gynaecologist, College Of Medicine, University of Lagos. The discussions were centered on ways to improve health & quality control methods, create more beneficial partnerships and reducing the high costs of medications for cancer patients. .
#Medicaid was represented by Dr. Ibrahim Hyelakumi (Deputy Medical Director), Medicaid Radio-Diagnostics and Dr. Aminu Aliyu, (Program Co-ordinator), Medicaid Cancer Foundation.
